Dr. Moore purchased Moore Smiles in 2012. Dr. Moore partnered with Dr. Scotty Devine to offer even more comprehensive care by acquiring his practice. This strategic move has enriched our entire team’s expertise and expanded the services available to you, our valued patients.
In 2021, Moore Smiles embraced the future of dental care by incorporating 3-D dentistry into our dental practice. This state-of-the-art technology has revolutionized our approach, allowing for more precise diagnostics, improved treatment planning, and enhanced patient outcomes.

Dr. Christy Moore, DMD
Owner
Dr. Christy is a dentist and owner of Moore Smiles, a practice she established in July 2012 after purchasing it from Dr. Joe Moore. With a passion for creating an atmosphere where patients feel great and confident with their smiles, Dr. Christy leads her team with a focus on continuous growth and learning.
Dr. Christy's educational journey began with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Roane State Community College in 1998 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from East Tennessee State University in 2006. She earned her Doctorate from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2012. Her career in dentistry started in 1995 as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Robert Childs in Kingston, TN.
She was inspired to become a dentist by the encouragement of mentors like an orthodontist in Sweetwater, TN, and Dr. Frank Rogers, who recognized her potential and motivated her to pursue further education in dentistry.
Dr. Christy loves being around people and helping them, aiming to improve their dental experiences and boost their confidence. She values fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for her team and understands their challenges from her experience as a team member.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Christy enjoys spending time on the water and engaging in activities like swimming, relaxing, and wake surfing. She is an avid reader and podcast listener and loves watching her family play sports, especially anything related to the Tennessee Vols. A country music enthusiast, she treasures her experiences at George Strait concerts, having shaken his hand three times and even receiving a guitar pick from him.
A fun fact about Dr. Christy is her adventurous spirit, evident from her cow-tipping escapades with friends (though they never succeeded) and her love for rolling yards at Halloween with her family and friends. Her unique blend of professionalism, passion for patient care, and vibrant personal interests make her a cherished leader and dentist at Moore Smiles.

Dr. Bhargav Joshi, DDS
Associate Dentist
Originally from Surat, India—a city known for its vibrant cuisine and rich cultural heritage—Dr. Joshi was drawn to dentistry because of its unique blend of art and science, and the ability to relieve pain and restore smiles in just moments. As the first dentist in his family, he pursued his passion with dedication, completing his residency at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Joshi is fluent in three languages (yes—he can read, write, and speak them all!) and enjoys the simplicity of black coffee and his favorite, traditional Indian food. Outside of the office, he’s an avid hiker who finds peace in the mountains and dreams of traveling to Switzerland one day.
What motivates Dr. Joshi most is seeing patients leave happier and healthier than when they arrived. He values the team spirit at Moore Smiles, where sharing wins, challenges, and collective growth is part of the culture. His celebration style? Low-key, heartfelt, and filled with gratitude for the Lord’s blessings.
He’s also best friends with Willow, our beloved emotional support pup—and yes, she’s probably playing fetch with him right now.

Dr. Scotty Devine, DDS
Associate Dentist
Dr. Scotty Devine is Returning from Retirement to Moore Smiles!
Dr. Devine began practicing dentistry in September 1985 and previously owned his own practice here in Sweetwater before becoming part of the Moore Smiles family. With decades of experience and a true passion for patient care, he is known for his expertise, warm personality, and ability to make everyone smile—both in the chair and around the office!
When he’s not perfecting smiles, Dr. Devine enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and cutting up with both patients and his fellow team members. We can't wait to have him back and know our patients will be just as excited as we are!

Rachel
Licensed Esthetician
A proud graduate of the Tennessee School of Beauty, Rachel brings skill, passion, and a warm touch to every treatment she provides. She loves being part of the Moore Smiles team—especially collaborating with Dr. Christy in our GLOW Aesthetics division, where advanced skincare meets personalized care.
Whether she's helping patients achieve glowing skin or supporting them through their aesthetic journeys, her goal is always the same: to make every person feel confident, radiant, and cared for.

Lindsay
Office Manager
Lindsay is an office manager and dental hygienist who has been dedicated to the dental field since 2013. Recently transitioning from her role as a dental hygienist to office manager, Lindsay skillfully wears many different hats in her daily responsibilities.
Lindsay graduated from Roane State Community College's dental hygiene program in May 2012. In 2021, she received her Expanded Functions Certification from Meharry Dental College. Her certifications include nitrous oxide administration, local anesthesia administration, and expanded functions. One of Lindsay's favorite aspects of her job is getting to know her patients, who often become like family. She also loves the camaraderie within our team.
Her passion for the dental field began in childhood, as she always loved visiting the dentist and would even ask for teeth cleaning as a birthday gift. The appeal of wearing scrubs and enjoying three-day weekends also influenced her career choice.
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys traveling, pool days in the summer, and horseback riding. She loves spending time with her miniature Australian shepherd, Savage. Lindsay's unique hobbies include crocheting and horseback riding. A fun fact about her is that she has swum with dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees.
Lindsay is married to Josh, the boys' basketball coach at Loudon High School. She has a fondness for all things denim, USA-themed, and cowboy boots.

Lakyn
Treatment Coordinator, Clinical Director & Marketing Director
Lakyn graduated from the University of Tennessee in December 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, focusing on supply chain management. Starting in February 2024, Lakyn quickly became an integral part of our team. Inspired by her mother, Dr. Christy Moore, Lakyn joined the dental field to fill a needed role in the office and gain valuable real-world marketing experience.
Lakyn’s responsibilities include creating patient treatment plans, assisting with finances, scheduling, and answering questions. She also implements new office systems, trains team members on effective communication and new tasks, organizes engaging events and promotions for patients, and manages our practice’s social media presence.
Her favorite aspect of working at Moore Smiles is the family-like atmosphere and the strong support system among team members.
She enjoys listening to faith-based podcasts, spending time on the lake, going to the gym, reading, and painting Bob Ross-inspired art. A unique aspect of Lakyn is her passion for her faith, which she loves to share with others. A fun fact about her is that she played softball at Chattanooga State before transferring to UT.

Dixie
Dental Assistant
Dixie is a dedicated dental assistant who has worked in the field since 1992. She joined Moore Smiles on its opening day, July 9, 2012, and has been a valued team member ever since. Dixie received her training through a six-week course, which equipped her with the skills needed to excel in her role. Her favorite aspect of her job is the opportunity to talk with patients, as she loves getting to know people and building connections.
She was drawn to the dental field because she wanted to help patients overcome their fears of the dentist. With her warm personality and compassionate approach, Dixie significantly impacts her patients' experiences, helping to alleviate their anxieties and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.

Sheree
Accounts Manager
Sheree Brock is our accounts manager at Moore Smiles, where she began in September 2023. With a background in dental administration, Sheree has been working in the dental field since 2009. Her responsibilities include serving as a liaison between the office and patients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly, and fostering strong relationships.
Sheree’s professional journey began as an insurance coordinator in 2009, followed by five years as an office manager for a general dentist practice before joining Moore Smiles. Her favorite part of her role is the strong bond she shares with both her team and the patients, and the genuine care they offer. Her motivation to join the dental field stems from her passion for witnessing how a new smile can positively transform a patient’s life.
Outside of work, Sheree enjoys spending afternoons on her small farm, where she rides and trains her horses, and spends time with her dogs. She has a hobby of noodling, a unique fishing technique. Additionally, Sheree is known for her adventurous palate, often enjoying unique and flavorful lunches like tomato gravy and even having fish for breakfast. Her diverse interests and vibrant personality make her a distinctive and valued member of the Moore Smiles team.

Abigail
Dental Hygienist
Abigail is a hygienist who brings a positive and uplifting attitude to her work. Known for her outgoing personality, Abigail loves putting smiles on the faces of her patients and team members. She strives to bring light into their lives daily, making her role both fulfilling and enjoyable.
Abigail received her education and training from Tennessee Wesleyan University. Her favorite aspect of her job is the fun and enjoyment she finds in her work and the connections she makes with her patients. She values her team's shared education and knowledge, ensuring they are always the best advocates for their patients. The wonderful people she works with daily make her job feel less like work and more like a source of happiness and joy.
Abigail started her dental hygiene career in 2023 and joined Moore Smiles in 2024. Her fascination with dentistry began in her youth, particularly after getting braces and experiencing the confidence of a beautiful smile. Inspired by her orthodontist's “magic,” she wanted to give others the same confidence. Her motto is, “Use your smile to change the world. Don’t let the world change your smile!”
Outside of work, Abigail enjoys reading, playing mind teasers, and listening to podcasts. A fun fact about her is that she is a huge Harry Potter nerd.

Bre
Dental Hygienist
BreAnna, or Bre, is a registered dental hygienist who began her career in dentistry in 2015. She joined our practice in August 2023, where she continues to excel and bring smiles to people's faces. Bre graduated from Hiwassee College in Madisonville, Tennessee. She believes in maintaining an optimistic outlook, which helps keep her team in good spirits. Her motto, "Keep on the sunny side of life," is fitting as she resides on Sunnyside Road.
Her favorite aspect of working with patients is seeing their joy and satisfaction after a dental cleaning. She also cherishes the familial bond she shares with her team and genuinely loves seeing them every day.
Outside of work, Bre enjoys attending concerts, hiking, and fishing. She also has a passion for singing in the church choir and occasionally doing solos. A fun fact about Bre is that she dreams of having a homestead filled with rescue animals.

Erin
Dental Assistant
Erin is a compassionate and dedicated dental assistant who began her career in dentistry in 2024. She received her education and training from the Dental Staff School in Knoxville and joined Moore Smiles shortly after graduation.
Erin's role involves providing kind and understanding care to her patients, ensuring they feel supported in every way possible. She loves working with a team that is patient, caring, and always willing to help. Her interest in dentistry stems from a lifelong desire to help and care for people. Erin finds fulfillment in her role, knowing she is making a difference in her patients’ lives.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys exploring new places, swimming, camping, and being out in nature. She loves spending time with her nephews and fishing with her dad.

Autumn
Hygienist and Ortho Coordinator
Autumn is a hygienist and orthodontics coordinator. She began her career in dentistry in 2021 and joined our team in 2022. Autumn holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) from Hiwassee College and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) from Tennessee Wesleyan University. Her favorite aspect of her job is the atmosphere at our practice, where everyone feels like one big family. Her decision to enter the dental field was inspired by her family's history of poor dental health, motivating her to make a positive change in people's lives.
Outside of work, Autumn enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and hunting with her husband. A fun fact about her is that she has bottle-fed a baby tiger!

Kari-Amber
Dental Assistant
Kari-Amber Baker is an expanded functions dental assistant who began her career in dentistry in 2016. She received her education and training from the Dental Learning Center in Maryville, Tennessee. Kari-Amber is known for her dedication to helping patients feel more confident in their smiles and her enthusiasm for the dental field.
Kari-Amber's favorite aspect of her job is the supportive and encouraging team she works with, which makes her work environment enjoyable and motivating. Her fascination with dentistry and desire to help people sparked her interest in the dental field. This passion drives her to provide excellent care to her patients every day.
Outside of work, Kari-Amber enjoys spending time outdoors, especially in the water. She also loves baking, crafting, reading, and traveling. Her unique hobby is geocaching, an adventurous activity combining her love for the outdoors and exploration.
A fun fact about Kari-Amber is that she can play the piano.

Dana
Dental Hygienist
Dana joined the Moore Smiles team in December 2024 after graduating from Tennessee Wesleyan earlier that year. Originally from Tellico Plains, she brings a warm and welcoming presence to our office.
A true book lover, Dana enjoys reading in her free time—especially the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series. When she’s not lost in a good book, she loves unwinding with an adult coloring book. A fun fact about Dana? She’s left-handed!
Her favorite part of being a hygienist is meeting people from all walks of life and helping them achieve their healthiest smiles. She loves working at Moore Smiles because of our Signature Pink and the way we prioritize genuine, personalized patient care.

Pasiley
Insurance Coordinator
Paisley is our insurance guru in training here at Moore Smiles, making the behind-the-scenes magic happen to help patients get the most out of their benefits. Originally from Loudon, TN, she’s a true country girl at heart who loves spending time with her horse, Apple Bottom Jeans (yes, that’s really her name!).
Fun fact: Paisley is the sister of our office manager, Lindsay! After seeing how much fun Lindsay had at work every day, Paisley knew she had to join the Moore Smiles crew too. She loves being part of a team that knows how to get the job done and have a good time while doing it.

Willow
Therapy Dog
Willow is our beloved therapy dog at Moore Smiles. She brings joy and comfort to everyone she meets. Starting in December 2023, Willow’s main responsibility is to show love to everyone and help brighten their day. She loves playing with patients and sitting in their laps, making dental visits more enjoyable.
Willow received her puppy training at PetSmart, where she learned the basics that make her an excellent companion. Her favorite part of working with patients and the team is playing and napping all day—a perfect job for a friendly dog like her.
Willow joined the dental field because her mom is Lakyn and her grammy is Dr. Christy. Outside of work, Willow loves to chase geese and rabbits, bark at the neighbors, do tricks for treats, and play fetch. One of her unique hobbies is simply looking cute, a talent she excels at effortlessly.
A fun fact about Willow is that her fur is dyed to match the office colors, with added tinsel for some extra sparkle.
Excellent appointment today. I had my 6 month cleaning and a small cavity filled that they had been watching for a couple of years. Autumn is the best of hygienists and Dr. Moore is very friendly and through. Dr. Moore has built an excellent practice which is most needed in Monroe County.
