Meet the Doctors

Dr. Christy Moore completed her Associates of Applied Science degree at Roane State Community College and her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at East Tennessee State University. She began her dental career right out of high school, working as a dental assistant while attending school to become a dental hygienist, and eventually attending the University of Louisville School of Dentistry to become a dentist, graduating with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2012. Dr. Moore regularly completes continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest treatments while continuing to provide her patients with excellent care. She has also received advanced training in providing BOTOX® and dermal fillers.

Dr. Moore has practiced in the Sweetwater area for over nine years. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association® and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is committed to providing exceptional, comprehensive oral health care in a fun, friendly environment where her patients can feel at ease. 

Dr. Moore and her husband of over 20 years, Preston, have one daughter Lakyn. Lakyn is currently a junior at the University of Tennessee. Outside of the office, Dr. Moore loves to travel, be out on the lake, visit the ocean, read, watch her daughter play softball and spend time with her family.

Dr. Scotty Devine received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Tennessee Technological University in 1978 and a Master of Science in Food Technology in 1980. From there, he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1985 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Devine has been practicing dentistry since September of 1985 and continues his education by attending three to four two-day seminars each year. He is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Tennessee Dental Association, and he has also been named #1 Dentist in the 2017 Daily Advocate Readers’ Choice Awards. 

Dr. Devine remains completely devoted to providing his patients with excellent, leading-edge dental care! His goal as a dentist is to keep loving and caring for his patients as if they are his family and to keep learning new procedures and technologies.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Devine is a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater. He has been married to his wife, Debbie, for over 30 years, and they have a son, Cody. Dr. Devine’s hobbies include bike riding, motorcycleriding, and boating on Watts Bar Lake.
