Lindsay — Office Manager & Registered Dental Hygienist

Lindsay graduated from Roane State Community College in 2012 and is certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She has been part of our team since then, contributing to our practice through marketing, upholding sterilization standards as outlined by OSHA, and coordinating hygiene care. She also became certified in expanded functions in 2021!

Lindsay and her husband, Josh, have a fur baby named Savage. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, swimming, traveling, crafting and DIY projects.

Dixie — Treatment Coordinator

Dixie has over 30 years of experience in the dental field and has been with our team for more than nine years. The team is like her family! She loves people and working in dentistry and learns something new every day. Outside of the office, Dixie enjoys spending time with her friends over the weekend.

Cortney — Insurance Coordinator

Cortney has been part of the Moore Smiles family for over six years! She loves being part of a team that enjoys having fun as well as providing quality care to our patients. Cortney and her husband, Alex, have two children, Jordan and Landon. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time at the ball field watching her kids play ball.

Autumn — Registered Dental Hygienist

Autumn graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University in 2021 with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree and then joined our practice in October 2022. Autumn loves that this practice feels like home, and everyone feels like one big family. She contributes to the success of this office by having a positive and uplifting attitude while with her patients.

Autumn is married to her husband, Zach, and they have seven dogs. Outside of work, she loves to fish and hunt with her husband.

Angela — Registered Dental Hygienist

Angela originally graduated from Roane State Community College with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene and joined our team in July 2020. She takes great pride in her profession, utilizing the skills she has gained over her career and applying the best care for her patients. She also loves the relationships she has built with all of her patients over the years and looks forward to many more to come here at Moore Smiles!

Angela and her husband have been married for over 15 years and have a son named Bearen. Her favorite hobbies are those that she can do with her family, enjoying the simple things in life. Her favorite time is spent over a campfire, roasting marshmallows with her family.

Misty — Registered Dental Hygienist

In 2020, Misty became a valued member of our team! As our new registered dental hygienist, she enjoys bringing a friendly and positive attitude to our office. Misty is married to her husband, Anthony, and they have two children, Conan and McKayla. In her spare time, she is very active at her church. Misty also loves horseback riding and going camping.

Bre Anna White - Registered Dental Hygienist

Bre Anna White is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), currently contributing her skills and expertise to Moore Smile since August 7, 2023. Originally from Loudon, TN, she earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science from Hiwassee, laying the foundation for her successful career in dental hygiene. Beyond her initial qualifications, Bre Anna is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous administration, showcasing her commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care.

Her passion for dental health is paralleled by her enthusiasm for personal growth and faith. Bre Anna finds joy in embracing outdoor activities like hiking and attending concerts during her leisure time. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is driven by an earnest desire to strengthen her faith and continually improve herself as a woman and wife. Family holds a special place in her heart, and she cherishes moments spent with her husband, Eric, whom she has been happily married to since 2014. Their household is complete with the delightful presence of their beloved pets—Sparky, Duke, and Bob.

A beacon of positivity, Bre Anna approaches life with unwavering optimism, always seeking the bright side of every situation. She considers herself immensely blessed with a fulfilling career, a loving family, and the unconditional love of her faith. In addition to her professional endeavors, she remains dedicated to creating a harmonious balance between her roles as a dental professional, wife, and family member.

Erin Courtney - Registered Dental Hygienist

Erin Courtney, RDH, joined the team at Moore Smiles on March 26, 2024, bringing her passion for dental care and commitment to patient well-being. Hailing from Lenoir City, she is a proud graduate of Lenoir City High School's Class of 2023 and completed her dental education at the Dental Staff School in Knoxville.

With certifications in dental radiology, nitrogen oxide monitoring, and BLS, Erin ensures the highest standards of care for her patients. Beyond dentistry, she finds joy in outdoor adventures like riding dirt bikes and being on the water. She cherishes time spent at church and also being with family and friends, including her close-knit cousins, who feel like siblings.

Leisa — Implant/Ortho Coordinator & Registered Dental Assistant

Leisa has been a dental assistant since 1995 and joined our team in 2016. She is our implant coordinator and is certified in coronal polishing, dental radiology, and nitrous oxide monitoring. She loves all the laughter in our office and watching the practice grow.

Leisa and her husband, Wendell, have a son, Landon, and a dog, Allie. She enjoys horseback riding and kayaking in her spare time.

Sam — Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Samantha has been a dental assistant since 2006 and has been placing restorations since 2013, so we were excited to have her join our team in July 2021. Samantha is glad to be a part of our great office and enjoys helping our community.

Samantha has been married for eight years to her husband, Tim, and together, they have an adult son named Robby. When she has spare time, she enjoys spending it with her family and friends.

Joell— Registered Dental Assistant

Joell graduated from the Dental Staff School of Knoxville in March 2023, and she joined our office shortly after in April 2023. She is currently going to school to become a dental hygienist and is excited to learn new things and continue her education. She loves the friendly and welcoming staff of Moore Smiles, and believes it is a great environment to work in.

Joell is thankful for all the love and support from her friends and family. Outside of work, she works at her church and with her youth group.

Kara Anderson - RDA/ Front Desk Specialist

Kara Anderson brings her passion for dentistry and exceptional organizational skills to the forefront as a multifaceted professional, serving as both a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and a Front Desk Specialist at Moore Smiles since January 2, 2024. A native of Lenoir City, TN, Kara's educational journey includes graduating from Lenoir City High School and obtaining specialized training from the Dental Staff School, equipping her with the expertise needed for her dual role.

Beyond her career, Kara finds joy in an active and adventurous lifestyle. Whether it's working out, immersing herself in the great outdoors through hiking and exploration, or satisfying her wanderlust through travel, Kara embraces life with enthusiasm. Her dynamic interests reflect a commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

At the heart of Kara's world is her family, including her husband, Joe. Currently expecting their first child, Kara and Joe are joyfully navigating the exciting journey of parenthood. Together, they have made a home in Athens, where their Goldendoodle, Mollie, completes their household. With an infectious spirit and a commitment to excellence, Kara is a valued member of the Moore Smiles team, embodying the perfect blend of professional prowess and personal fulfillment.
