Meet the Team

Lindsay — Office Manager & Registered Dental Hygienist

Lindsay graduated from Roane State Community College in 2012 and is certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She has been part of our team since then, contributing to our practice through marketing, upholding sterilization standards as outlined by OSHA, and coordinating hygiene care. She also became certified in expanded functions in 2021!

Lindsay and her husband, Josh, have a fur baby named Savage. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, swimming, traveling, crafting and DIY projects.

Dixie — Treatment Coordinator

Dixie has over 30 years of experience in the dental field and has been with our team for more than nine years. The team is like her family! She loves people and working in dentistry and learns something new every day. Outside of the office, Dixie enjoys spending time with her friends over the weekend.

Cortney — Insurance Coordinator

Cortney has been part of the Moore Smiles family for over six years! She loves being part of a team that enjoys having fun as well as providing quality care to our patients. Cortney and her husband, Alex, have two children, Jordan and Landon. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time at the ball field watching her kids play ball.

Autumn — Registered Dental Hygienist

Autumn graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University in 2021 with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree and then joined our practice in October 2022. Autumn loves that this practice feels like home, and everyone feels like one big family. She contributes to the success of this office by having a positive and uplifting attitude while with her patients.

Autumn is married to her husband, Zach, and they have seven dogs. Outside of work, she loves to fish and hunt with her husband.

Angela — Registered Dental Hygienist

Angela originally graduated from Roane State Community College with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene and joined our team in July 2020. She takes great pride in her profession, utilizing the skills she has gained over her career and applying the best care for her patients. She also loves the relationships she has built with all of her patients over the years and looks forward to many more to come here at Moore Smiles!

Angela and her husband have been married for over 15 years and have a son named Bearen. Her favorite hobbies are those that she can do with her family, enjoying the simple things in life. Her favorite time is spent over a campfire, roasting marshmallows with her family.

Misty — Registered Dental Hygienist

In 2020, Misty became a valued member of our team! As our new registered dental hygienist, she enjoys bringing a friendly and positive attitude to our office. Misty is married to her husband, Anthony, and they have two children, Conan and McKayla. In her spare time, she is very active at her church. Misty also loves horseback riding and going camping.

Leisa — Implant/Ortho Coordinator & Registered Dental Assistant

Leisa has been a dental assistant since 1995 and joined our team in 2016. She is our implant coordinator and is certified in coronal polishing, dental radiology, and nitrous oxide monitoring. She loves all the laughter in our office and watching the practice grow.

Leisa and her husband, Wendell, have a son, Landon, and a dog, Allie. She enjoys horseback riding and kayaking in her spare time.

Sam — Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Samantha has been a dental assistant since 2006 and has been placing restorations since 2013, so we were excited to have her join our team in July 2021. Samantha is glad to be a part of our great office and enjoys helping our community.

Samantha has been married for eight years to her husband, Tim, and together, they have an adult son named Robby. When she has spare time, she enjoys spending it with her family and friends.

Rachel-Ann — Registered Dental Assistant

Rachel-Ann became a part of our office in January 2021. She is a 2018 graduate of Sequoyah High School and graduated from the Knoxville Dental Staff School in November 2020. Rachel-Ann helps our office be successful by being our GLO whitening specialist, and she loves working at our office because no one leaves a stranger.

Rachel-Ann and her boyfriend, Dalton, have one fur baby named Yadi. In her free time, Rachel-Ann loves spending time with family, going to baseball games and reading.

Joell— Registered Dental Assistant

Joell graduated from the Dental Staff School of Knoxville in March 2023, and she joined our office shortly after in April 2023. She is currently going to school to become a dental hygienist and is excited to learn new things and continue her education. She loves the friendly and welcoming staff of Moore Smiles, and believes it is a great environment to work in.

Joell is thankful for all the love and support from her friends and family. Outside of work, she works at her church and with her youth group.

Bella — Receptionist

Bella joined the Moore Smiles family in May 2023. She loves the family atmosphere of our office and the cute scrubs our team wears. Bella takes great pride in her position, and with that comes taking ownership of the role when fulfilling her responsibilities.

Bella graduated from high school in 2020 as an honors student. She enjoys being outdoors and cooking in her free time. Bella greatly admires her mother, who has been a great role model and who pushes her forward each day.

Hailey — Registered Dental Assistant

Meet Hailey, our Registered Dental Assistant at Moore Smiles. Hailing from LaFollette, TN, Hailey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. She graduated from dental staff school in March 2022. However, her thirst for knowledge didn't stop there; she is currently working towards obtaining her bachelor's degree to enhance her skills further and advance in her career. Hailey's dedication to self-improvement is evident through the various certifications she has acquired along the way. She possesses nitrous certification, radiology certification, and CPR certification.

When she isn't busy assisting with dental procedures or continuing her education, Hailey enjoys spending quality time with her family or outdoors. She has also recently started training and doing professional photography. Speaking of family, Hailey is engaged and has an adorable 2-year-old son named River. Their little family also includes Boomer – a GSP dog, and Freddie, a Persian cat.
