The patient's original smile felt somewhat understated due to shorter tooth lengths and a narrower arch, which left empty spacing at the outer corners of the mouth when smiling. While the teeth were relatively straight, their proportions didn't fully stand out against the frame of the lips. The primary goal was to elongate the teeth, widen the appearance of the smile, and create a much more impactful, radiant presence.
The temporary mockup beautifully addresses these goals by lengthening the front teeth and subtly widening the arch to completely fill out the smile from corner to corner. This structural change establishes a gorgeous, fluid curve that perfectly tracks with the patient's lower lip. The entire upper row is also enhanced with a crisp, uniform brightness that looks incredibly vibrant.
Wearing this temporary design gave the patient an authentic, real-world look at how altering the width and proportions would lift her entire facial aesthetic. It provided complete visual clarity and confidence before moving forward with a permanent cosmetic plan.
